Aerial Advertising Delivers Cost-Effective Benefits

Most businesses clearly understand the importance of advertising to the financial health of their operation. Accordingly, most businesses devote a significant portion of their budget to advertising. Today, there are a number of different advertising methods available. In an effort to get the most from their advertising dollars, many companies attempt to bring in business through high cost television and radio ads. Far too often; however, these methods prove to be disappointing due to the number of people who engage in channel surfing.

There is a novel method of advertising that is quickly becoming a popular and effective technique for reaching audiences. This method is aerial advertising. With this method, a large banner is printed with an advertising message, which is then trailed behind an airplane as it is flown over an open gathering such as a parade, concert, sporting event or even over a beach. Quite commonly, when those gathered at the event hear the drone of the airplane’s engine, they glance up toward the sky and see the advertising message that is being delivered.

While this may sound as though it would be expensive, aerial advertising is really more cost effective than traditional means of advertising including Internet, print, television and radio advertising. In fact, many businesses are surprised to learn that they can reach the same number of people with aerial advertising that they would be able to reach with other methods for roughly half the cost.

Although aerial advertising is more cost effective than these methods, it is able to reach more people in a far more effective manner. Studies, which have been conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of aerial advertising, have concluded that thirty minutes following an aerial advertising, more than 85% of the people in the area had seen the advertisement and almost 70% could recall much of the exact message. This is far more effective than radio, print and TV advertising methods could produce. As the plane travels overhead, the people below on the ground will have the opportunity to read the message over and over for up to seventeen seconds.

Companies who are looking for the most cost effective method for advertising their business would be well served to consider aerial advertising as a way of getting out a message.
